Cruise Ship

Cruise Ship on Cake Central

I froze the cakes for this and then stacked and carved them into a ship. It ended up about 2 ft. long and even had icing people in the pools and sunbathing! I took this picture before I finished it off with icing and blue gel for the water and waves splashing up at the base of the ship.

Freezing cakes, if they are wrapped well, adds to the moisture in my opinion Tiffany. That is so cute! I LOVE the people about the ship. LOL

Thanks! I only freeze cakes if necessary, but I have never had a problem with them not staying moist. I have had brides tell me that when they took their topper cake out of the freezer a year later, it tasted like I had just made it.
