Close Up Of Roses And Greenery
A close up of the roses and greenery, and cornelli lace. I learned that it's best to do a crumb coat if doing red velvet cake. The cornelli lace does a decent job of hiding the bits of crumb that showed. Fortunately, the bride and groom loved it enough that they didn't mind a few crumbs.
The roses are so lovely and you did a great job with the cornelli lace! :)
:) I should probably admit that the reason I did the cornelli lace to begin with was that this was a red velvet cake, and there were lots of crumbs showing. That lace hides a LOT! :lol: but it was fun, and I'm adicted to Cornelli lace just because it's so pretty, now. :)
