My sister took the pictures while I was still decorating the cake, neither one of us relized she didn't get a picture of the finished cake. After this picture was taken I used a ribbon tip to pipe a flat border around the cake for the cover and used a fork to comb page lines around the sides.
What a cool idea! Think of how this idea would work for an anniversary cake! Good Job!
cute idea!
Very cute! I bet the whole family loved this cake. I am thinking of doing this same type of thing for a book of this is your life for a 70th birthday. What kind of paper did you put the pictures on? What are the pictures laying on? Any information you can give would be a great help!
I used regular pictures(copies) and covered the back of the pictures with fruit roll ups before cutting them out so that the actual picture wouldn't be sitting on the cake. I also used fruit roll ups for the die cuts.
