Dad's Birthday Cake-Top View
this is a fruit cake covered in fondant & decorated with buttercream. i know, the cake doesn't look very masculine but couldn't think of a masculine design that wasn't too plain/"empty".
this is only my 3rd attempt at decorating with fondant,so, i'll appreciate any tips/feedback on how to make it better.

thanks :-). about the tip, i'm sorry, i use a local malaysian brand so, i'm not too sure of the tip number for wilton. i think its 365 or something like that. it's large & basically looks like a leaf tip, but without the notch in the middle.

I think you did a great job with this. Your colors work really well together and the flowers are so pretty on top. I'm sure your dad didn't care whether or not it was masculine..its a gorgeous cake!
