Mother's Day Tulips
Red velvet cake w/ dreamy cream icing. Gumpaste tulips. I apparently had one eye closed when doing my piping as it is all over the place. LOL Needless to say I was not happy with the way this turned out.

aww thanks! the stamens were from rice noodles and tip 2 w/black royal icing. shirleyw had given me a great tutorial on tulips and then I also found one in American Cake Decorating PM if would like those directions.
Your Tulips are beautiful and I love the colors! The cake looks very nice! Did you make the stamens or purchase them that way?
