This cake is fabulous! What did you make the eyes and nose out of?
Nice colorful background!
I could kick myself for not getting a picture of this cake with the actual napkin. The cake matched really well and coordinated perfectly with the party decorations. We did get the most adorable picture of my son trying to blow out the candle though. Thanks for all of the nice words.
This cake was done for my sons 2nd birthday. He LOVES Elmo. The background cakes was done to match the napkins and such. The whites of the eyes and the nose are buttercream. The pupils are done in fondant. The bottom cake is a 14" round cover in buttercream (the orange), and the embelishments are done in fondant. I had to mix 12 colors of fondant for this cake. 3 different shades of the four colors (purple, blue, green and yellow).
