I made this cake for a Bon Voyage (Buon Viaggio) party that was held for my brother-in-law before he left for a semester of studying in Italy. I made the outline of the flag with a cookie cutter and then filled it in with my piping. Unfortunately, one of my kids got too close & messed up the flagpole a little bit. Oh well!!
