The ribbon was two toned (just organza). The cake itself was two-toned. It was covered at first in a dark apricot color, then the box lids were a lighter apricot color. The bows matched the darker look. The piping was just royal icing, and the roses were purchased gumpaste that I tinted to match. I hope that explains it! It was easier to do than it looks!

Ok - so the darkest stripe on each cake is fondant and not ribbon? That's where I was getting confused. Either way it's gorgeous!
