This cake was a nightmare from the beginning. The top layer crumbled on me and I had to try and save it. It is really lumpy, but I liked the roses. This was my first try at some serious roses. I had kind of messed around with them before, but I liked these. I definely have some different ideas for next time. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful job!! What kind of chocolate icing is that? It looks very rich and mine is never that dark.

It may have been a nightmare, but it looks stunning! Nice job on the roses and your icing looks so rich and yummy.

I use the double chocolate buttercream icing in the recipe section. Then I add brown food coloring. It makes a really nice color!
