This is my attempt at making a cake similar to some of the ones posted by Sugarshack- whose talent just blows me away. It was actually for a baptism this past Sunday. Both oval cakes are iced with buttercream, impression mat for the side quilting design, fondant draped over the cakes and gumpaste flowers. The only thing missing was the cross cut from fondant that was placed after I delivered it. I am hoping to get a "completed" picture soon.
