90Th Birthday Tea Party

90Th Birthday Tea Party on Cake Central

Vanilla cake with buttercream filling and fondant icing. Flowers, saucers, handles, spout, and lid made from gumpaste. I like the way this cake turned out... my first 'real' flowerish cake and way more gumpaste than i've ever worked with. Lots of fun!

Oh, this is just beautiful. My aunt is 90 and I wish I lived close enough to make this for her. I love those delicate flowers & the top of the teapot the most. Beautiful colors.

Thanks for everyone's comments! The handle was attached just with water and maybe a touch of royal icing(can't remember) and the spout has a metal thingy from a floral shop in it and again attached the same way.
