Well this was my first fondant wedding cake. It was done as a wedding gift to my dh best friend who is have a blessing here in the states. He married a girl from Austrailla and there are here to get blessed by the family church. This is the frist time I have done any type of gumpaste flower. Well it started with the a daylily cutter by Sunflower. It was going well tell I got happy with the paiting. So now I think they look like tiger lillies. But to be say I am just going to call them Becky's Exoctic Lillies. I am happy with them but I am not sure they look like any known flower...lol So lets just say I am really gumpaste and painting impaired. The roses are bought.

But I do have to say that I really do love this cake. It is simple and clean looking. The bride wanted huge oriental lilies but I just couldnt do it. The cake got lost under them. But it is a gift and I am sure she will like it anyway. They are still lillies, I think...lol
