To get some practice in I made a cake for someone's birthday at work. It's vanilla with cookies and cream filling with BC icing. I wanted to try the basketweave which I thought was pretty easy but the buttercream was too soft..again. I'm going to try another recipe. It didn't turn out like I had visualized but everyone loved it. I guess we're our own worst critic.
