Princess Tiara Cake
Made for a 3 year old girls birthday party. The bottom tier is a 10-inch 2-layer yellow cake filled with bavarian creme, top is same in a 6-inch cake. Iced in pink buttercream. Roses, hearts and tiara are royal icing. Tiara painted in luster dust. Buttercream swiss dots painted with Antique silk luster dust. Edible pearls around writing and bottom of tiara. This cake was so!!!! fun to make!
How sweet this cake is. I think I saw your tiara on the forum the other day and it looks great. By the way, your cake is soooo smooth, how do you do it??
Thanks Diesel! Viva papertowels is my trick for getting a nice smooth cake. You can find instructions all over this site. Just search for Viva in the forums.
I am new and have used the Viva papertowel method, I just need to keep practicing I guess. I posted a cake to the baby shower section "Jana & Jason's cake" if you want to check it out.
Wow! What a cake! Don't let my five year old daughter see this, I know what I will be making in February.
This is very elegant cake very nice
Very nice...Good job!
A very pretty and dainty cake! Gorgeous flowers and tiara. I also love the incorporation of pearls into your design.
