A soon to be bride just had her bday. They wanted to surprise her with this cake. Her colors for the wedding are fuschia and green. The tiara has her new monogram on it. The tiara is royal icing and sprinkled with shimmer dust. The cake is covered with MMF and painted with luster dust.
I taped a template onto a hat box. There's no lip, so the dried crown slips off easily. I covered the template with wax paper and then piped on royal icing.
Wow that's gorgeous ...The tiara is fantastic ... I'm dying to attempt on of those soon ... and the pillow is brilliant too ... the pattern is really pretty & I love the stiching effect. Super!

Beautiful! totally stunning; Great job; may I ask, what size was the cake?
It's a 2 layer, 10" square.
Gorgeous! That sure looks like it took a bit of time to make! How long did you let the royal icing dry?
absolutely stunning and really different with the choice of colors used. I love it!
The royal sets up in a few days, but I like to do it at least a week in advance.
Luuuuuuv It!!!!!!!!!!!!
