First Fondant Wedding Cake

First Fondant Wedding Cake on Cake Central

First attempt at a fondant wedding cake. The bride requested VERY simple look - not a lot of decoration. It made us very nervous since we would have no way to cover our fondant mistakes! But, it actually went much better than we had anticipated - and that never happens!

This is very beautiful and so elegant! It just proves, less is more!! One thing I do love about Bakels is that their stuff is so white! I never used dowels either. I made my own stress-free support system!

GORGEOUS! Is this the marshamallow fondant? I absolutely love it. I am new to the tier cakes and my first was a disaster. Would you mind telling me the size of the cakes and how many dowels you used for each tier?

The fondant is Pettinice (Bakels). The tiers are 14 - 10 - 6. I used the stress free support system - you can see it on Earlene's website. No more dowels for me!
