I finally started to get the hang of it on the outer row of petals. Here is what I learned from this attempt. Seriously, let the center totally dry overnight before you start putting petals on. Dust the foam with corn starch every 3rd petal or so to keep it from sticking and to dry it out a bit so that when you place the petals on they hold their shape instead of flopping all over the place.
