Fondant and royal icing. I'd really like to try this cake again, because I see so many things about it that bother me - but not bad for a first attempt! See the teacup that goes with it.

I wish I had gotten the fondant a little smoother on the bottom but I must say I was VERY proud of the handle and spout! LOL!

I used a mini swirl bundt pan for the top, half a ball for the middle, then the beveled pan on top of a few round pans and I just carved them 'til it looked right.
