Thanks for the comments. Fins, tail and teeth all fondant. Baked 2-11X15" choc. pound cake. Made a template (general fish shape), carved 2" layer for bottom angled in for mouth, next layer same. Made a cardboard base for upper mouth with styrofoam piece underneath, covered board and styro with packing tape. Dowels under board. Another layer of cake. Iced with buttercream as I went. Add cake and icing as needed to make shape. Eyes are black fondant painted with black gel color.
