My First Castle Cake
this is a 4-layer 8" strawberry cake and 3-layer wilton class oval (what size is that?) all iced with buttercream. It was a disaster-repair, which is why there are only 2 towers and the top and bottom don't match. The birthday princess was very happy though.
Well of course the princess was happy.!!!!!! This is a terrific cake! The texture on the door is precious and the bricks are wonderful. Great detail!.

It sort of makes sense that the 2 floors don't match. Castles were often added to through the years. The top just hasn't aged like the bottom. :) Personally, I think that the difference emphasizes the shape.
