Two Hearts Become One
This is a carrot cake with cream cheese icing. The roses are done in buttercream. This was a fun cake to make. I did get the idea from this site, thank you. Her colors for her wedding were coral. I am not sure if I got close without seeing the colors, but her mother picked up the cake and loved it. They ordered an extra 1/2 sheet of the carrot cake just because the bride loved my carrot cake so much when she sampled it.
If you do a cream cheese icing, do you have to keep the cake refrigerated? I love all the colors on your cake and I love the borders.
I keep the carrot cake w/cream cheese icing in the refigerator until I deliver or serve it. However, I heard from customers the cake has more flavor when it has sat out for a couple of hours.
