I made this cake for my grandmother to take to church with her. My brother said that people gasped when he took a knife and cut into it....they actually thought it was a basket of roses. Apparantly it was sitting in the middle of the food table and nobody took a close look until he "sliced into it." It is an all buttercream cake with buttercream roses.
