For a second marriage. This couple was into fairies and fantasy. How fun!
This cake is actually a complete copy of their invitation, which I will post here too. Mushrooms, fairies, flowers are all in gumpaste. Cake in IMBC buttercream.
practice, practice, practice...the smoothness of the IMBC icing helps too. bottoms of cake are flat and regular.
I didn't photograph the other side, but I do have other angles photographed. The fairies are supposed to have their backs to you, as it copies the invitation I posted. :) I'll add another view to the Gallery now.

Fabulous! I'm wondering how you manage to get your egdes so straight and crisp. And do you angle the bottom of the cake as well as the top?
