50Th Wedding Anniversary
This design is in a Wilton book. The diagonal lines are a lot simpler to make that they look like they are. You just ice the cake, cut a strip of waxed paper to fit the area you do not want colored, and then put a light layer of colored icing where you want it, and then take of the waxed paper. Amazingly you'll end up with a nice clean, straight line.
thank you!
I love this design....it's on my list of "I wanna try its"! Great job!
Which Wilton cake book is this from????
Great job! I've seen this cake in my mag, and I have always wanted to try it. Excellent job with it! Going into my favorites. :D
Awesome cake!! Thanks for the ''hint'' too!!!!!
Really Pretty -- I like this cake but have been afraid to try it.
I too have been wanting to try this cake!! I just had NO idea how to make the diagonal lines....Great cake!!
Beautiful! I, too, have wanted to make this cake but have been scared. One day I'll work up the courage.
Thanks you all!! The Wilton magazine gives much better/clearer directions. Practice on one tier. You'll be surprised how easy it is.

Love your cake! I have done this pattern in purple and white just because it looks so great and it is easier than you think. Again, great job!
