Sticky Rice With Mangoes Thai Food Cake
This cake is white cake with Coconut Cream frosting and Mango Dessert BC. The fondant is Coconut flavored and made with Toba's recipe. Thanks to everyone for the help and encouragement on this. Some of the mango strips are fondant covered strips and then I gave up on that idea and just cut the fondant into STRIPS! This cake is made to look like my DH's favorite Thai food.

The cake is a box white cake with the lilscakes extender (sour cream one) recipe (I think :lol: )
This is awesome! My DH loves sticky rice...how'd you make the rice??
The sticky rice is made with a potato ricer! It worked great but was a pain! I put in the buttercream and then when I squeezed it out I scraped it off with a knife and then laid it on the cake (sort of like laying sod! :lol: )
