This wedding cake was a replica of a friend's original cake from 50 years ago. At the vow renewal party the groom actually recognized the cake before anyone else as being the same as their original (it helped having a picture of their original cake-cutting on the table too!)

You know, I love the old classical wedding cake designs and I think an anniversary or vow renewal is the perfect time to bring some of those timeless designs back. You did a beautiful job!!! I know your friends were touched and thrilled to receive this cake!!!!!!
