OK, so I had left over batter and icing from the frog cake I did so I made cupcakes and frosted them (quickly as you can see by the sloppiness) and decided to try to make them into a bouquet! Showed some people the pics and already have orders! Unreal!
Sloppy of not, this looks great ~ I'm going to try this for Mother's Day too.
Thanks! I am planning to use them on my tables (we have three table for mother's day dinner) and use them as center pieces. I am going to make them bigger and fuller bouquets with a more uniform color look.
i think it's adorable...not at all what i thought a cupcake bouquet was.
Wonderful!
Love all the colors, looks great! Okay question I know you use a styrofoam ball to stick them in but them what goes down in the pot, I am confused and would love to make them for mother's day!
I love these, and can't wait to try. What are you going to be charging for these? I saw cammies prices and wanted to know how others are with theirs. You did a great job! Did you use toothpicks or skewers?
wow it looks great! love the roses! how did you do them on top of the cupcake like that?
if these are sloppy then i can't wait to see the great ones! it looks fantastic! ;-D
I think they look very pretty. How did you attach the cupcakes to the holder?
Very cute. Did you have any problems with the cupcakes being too top heavy? Is it a clay pot or plastic?
I had no idea as to what I was doing or the correct way to do one of these as it was spur of the moment. But I originally put the cupcakes on wooden skewers but the just wanted to go right thru the cakes so I then used the cookie sticks and they worked fine. The trick is keeping the sticks low so the cakes sit on the pot and each other. The pot is plastic and never tipped once. This was my first try so I am still learning this too but I hoped it helped! Thanks for the comments!!!
love them, what tip did you use?? :?
Well done!
