I forgot to include in my description that I got part of my idea from a fellow cakecentral user.
My 5-year old daughter just said, "Hey mom, I want a cake like that!" Great job. I wouldn't have thought of using brown sugar for the path. Thanks for the idea.
I hope your daughter enjoys it! You can also use crushed graham crackers for the path as well.
