Cascading Roses And Swiss Dots on Cake Central

Colette Peters white cake w/ strawb. mousse w/ bc roses/royal leaves. Practice scratch cake and cascading roses -- also swiss dots for 1st time -- made them more uniform on back and liked it better. Cake was sturdier than mix, but drier and didn't have a lot of flavor. True for most white cakes though. Not sure if it was too dry -- added cake syrup but definitely not enough. Went too crazy w/ roses and leaves, but was just having fun. Really loved the toothpick trick and will def. use again w/better cascade
