Wow!!! 'm with CakesBySandy. Would you give instructions for this?. I along with a few friends did an LV cake and no-ones came out the same and no-ones looked as great as yours. I had to handpipe my letters on and I used Wiltons Decorative Punch Set for fondant to get the shaped emblems on the cake so you can imagine what that looked like. Would love for you to share instructions. Fabulous cake!

Hey that looks even better than the fake LV I bought off Ebay! No really - it's amazing! I know about looking forward to things and having them turn into nightmares (Ferrari!! UGG!) I love it....makes me nervous to make one though!

I am AMAZED! Everything is perfect, down to the last detail. Great job!! Sorry it was such a pain but you should definitely make another one!

This is wonderful!!! Your attention detail is amazing! What part did you find so aggravating? Your persistence paid off, that's for sure!

Tripletmom...I had covered it with fondant and it tore...I tried and tried to fix it and then I gave up, took it off...scraped all the chocolate icing off and covered it with vanilla...re-covered it with fondant...finally we're getting somewhere...Then, my loops kept breaking...The handles were supposed to be straight up...my poor DH was shooed out of the kitchen just because he was trying to offer solutions....at 4:00 am, I concluded that the world will not end if the handles are hanging down...

Awesome work. The leather looks so real. And for what it is worth, the handles look more natural hanging down. Most of the time when you set a purse down, the handles drop. So I think it looks great the way it is. I was going to try my hand at a make-up bag for my 3yr. old. Now I am scared to try, because I will not be no where as great as yours

I love everything about this cake, down to the presentation board and candles. Excellent work.

Oh, I so love your cakes !! Just took a glance at them tonight after reading your "weird phone calls" post. I've looked at them many times before them and always admire them!! How did you get so good at fondant? I'm new at this and have yet to try it (but would love to). Was the purse difficult? Do you have a book that helps you ? Surely you must have some instructions to do these purse cakes !! Please share !!! Thanks

Fabulous! Fabulous! Can't imagine someone can actually make a replica with such likeness to the real thing. Congratulations for your great work! I think everyone will love it if you post your instruction in the forum column. :) ;-D
