I made them from fondant. I had a little people horse and used that and pics from here. I put 3 toothpicks in the back to stick into the stable. Hope that helps. :D
Also I wanted to ask you since I am fairly new to cake decorating I've seen people use fondant or gumpaste to make figures. what is easiest to do for the horses?
I used fondant since I had it on hand. The only thing I don't like about fondant is when it dries out it gets elephant skin. Gum does not. Both are easy to work with. Good luck. :)
