O.K. I made this for my mom and I really don't like the way it turned out. I think I looks worse in the pic. I think I have my fondant too thin, first off, and I really don't work well with it anyway. Then i'm sitting there talking to my husband while I'm working,( I use my hands alot to talk) and stuck my finger in the bottom tier on the side. Sooo..... even though it's not the greatest, It's a learning experiance. It's sad I have to learn the hard way. LOL!!
I think this cake is just beautiful! I love the flowers
Well, I think it's beautiful! You're too funny about sticking your finger into it -- I do that all time!
don't let her fool you, ladies, she did a fantastic job, it was for our Mother-Daughter banquett at church, it was so pretty, people were afraid to cut it until I assured them it was a real cake ~lol~although Heather, I don't see my birthday, nor dad's nor aww let me see, well guess you can't show them all ~lol~"mom" ;-D
Good on you, I think the cake is lovely. :) If you just sprinkle some sifted icing sugar then rub gently but vigourously, your gouge should soften up abit if not blend in.
