Basket Of Strawberries
Thanks so much to Beez for the inspiration and directions. The handle caused me lots of headaches, but the whole cake was defintely a learning experience. Strawberry cake torted with strawberry filling and bc. Lid and handle are royal. It was huge, only 9 x 13 but almost 5 inches tall after all the torting!

Great cake! I've seen this plenty of times with chocolate, but the whit against the bright red berries is stunning! I love it!
I just followed the directions that Beez gave in the "How Do I" forum called A Basket of Berries - Directions. If it will post, this is the link (...) Most of my problem with the handle was because the curve flattened out as it dried and then had to be re-curved and re-iced. That's why it's so thick!!
