Made this cake for a birthday party. On one side I wrote "I'll get you my pretty" and the other I wrote "There's no place like home". The "Emerald City" is melted jolly ranchers.
Thanks, the characters (because they are impossible to find!) are just printed from the internet, and put on cardboard. I stuck them in with toothpicks. The border, actually is rainbow colored twizzlers. Just happened to run across them at the store today!
gosh you should have said something...i live 15min from Frank L Baum's birthplace and could've probably gotten some figurines for you.. cake came out really cute.
I live about 45 min. from Judy Garland's birthdplace, you think I could find some? Nope. This was kinda a last minute cake, and not much time to prepare.
