Basketweave isn't just for easter and wedding cakes! I used it to create a fun and colorful patriotic cake. The cake and roses are done in buttercream. I used the spatula striping technique for the roses and wilton's firework cupcake pics to add some sparkle.

I used the "make-any-message press set from Wilton. I love it and recommend it to anyone who is having trouble mastering writing.
