I made this cake from scratch for my neice's 3rd birthday party. The base of the hat is a large sugar cookie that I rolled out from prepackaged and made store bought dough. I baked the cake in a glass bowl for the center of hat. To frost I heated canned frosting until pourable consistancy and gave it 3 coats.
