Chrisanthemum Puppy Face Cake
This is actually just a store-bought coconut cake. I bought a package of white chrysanthemums and cut the stems really short and then placed them on the cake to form a puppy's face. I added a pompom nose, wiggly eyes and ribbon with Elmer's glue. This was made to look like my mother-in-law's maltese "Harley" for Easter.
So creative, and so cute! Now to figure out how to do with icing. love it

yes, you could probably make gumpaste chrystanthemums also and do it that way
