Stand Up Golf Bag Groom's Cake
Based on a design on the CakesbySam website, this was a white cake designed to have the colors and emblem of the golf course the groom belonged to. His initials and nickname are going down the right side of cake. The balls have the course emblem and the tees have the wedding couples name and date on them.
Way Cool!
Wow, amazing, you did a great job
Wow!! Another great job!!
wonderful
My husband would love this. What type of mould did you use for golf bag?
I did not use a mold. It is 5- 10" rounds, individually placed on contact paper wrapped double cake boards. Placed on "puff base" (instructions at www.earlenescakes.com) and each layer had dowels. 3 center, point sharpened dowels driven all way through center into puff base for stability during transprtation.Balls, Tees are real, clubs are toy set, handle was wire rimmed frame covered by triple thick aluminum foil and iced. Email me if need further help...good luck if you make it.
Awesome job!
