Pink Golf Bags

Pink Golf Bags on Cake Central

These are for a wedding shower today. I think the bride is a golfer on a women's team. I can't wait to see her reaction to them! The golf clubs are tinted with the edible silver powder.

Thanks! I made some cookies on the weekend and they looked great when wet, but when they dried the icing was dull and flat, almost deflated or shrunken! I used a recipe with meringue powder...do you think I needed to add more of it? The icing on your cookies remains 3-dimensional and shiny!

Does your recipe contain only icing sugar, meringue powder and water? (plus flavouring) Maybe I will try slightly different porportions of those ingredients - I used the Sugarbaker royal icing recipe yesterday.

It's icing sugar, meringue powder, warm water and cream of tartar. I think I will post it in the recipes section for everyone.

Thanks so much! I look forward to seeing more of your fabulous creations! Is this a full-time business for you?

Wow, those look awesome!! Where did you find that silver powder, I've driven myself crazy looking for some.

Well, I think it has been banned for sale in Ontario because the FDA won't approve it...maybe even in all of Canada, so I bought mine from the US. I think it was www.cookiecutter.com? I think you can also get it at www.kitchengifts.com

Your cookies are always awsome.. such and inspiration! How do you keep your royal icing so shiny and smooth?

I'm not really certain of the trick! I do let the thinned icing sit overnight before I use it though. It gets rid of most of those annoying air bubbles from mixing. Maybe that helps?

Oh my gosh! I love those! My mom is on a ladies golf team. I will definitely have to steal your idea for her b-day!
