Cake For Over 400 People
This was the biggest cake I've ever done for a wedding. It is a fondant cake with quilted pattern and pearls, lustered with pearl dust. When I got to the hall, it was still under construction, so we had to walk through mud to get the cakes inside. And then, they had forgotten to order flowers to fill in between!! (the cake was designed for flowers). However, they had a ton of silk flowers laying around that they weren't using, so I just took them and used to fill in the tiers.

OMG They FORGOT the flowers!!! How awful! Thank God you managed to find something else! Looks great...how did you fit so many cakes in your fridge??
The cakes were just simple: yellow cake with 10x frosting as a filling, so they did not require a ton of refrigeration. Instead, I had them in a frigidly air-conditioned room. I have never walked into such a disorganized wedding in my life. I think the mother of the bride was having a nervous breakdown. I felt bad for her.
