This cake was originally done as an Independence Day (school's out) for staff at the school where I work. The cake is the White Almond cake on this site with BCF.
You know how I do it....I stripe a pretty good amount of the outer colors, here it's the red and blue. Then using another piping bag with the white I push the bag down into the color bag and fill it up with the frosting. This keeps the colors from running together.

It should be simple, but I still have not mastered bag striping. I love the red, white, and blue trim on this, it is great! Neat cake.
