3D Castle ..competition Cake
Castle covered in Royal Icing rolled and pressed on to resemble stones.All figures made of Fondant and either dusted or painted with Lustre dust.Windows and flags are fondant,Crests are colorflow.Rocks are chocolate bought from the store.Board covered in fondant and dusted.Entire castle dusted with Moonstruck lustre dust.

Actually it isn't real..It can't be for a competition.It is Styrofoam and pringles potato chip cans.

Did you mean fondant rolled and pressed on? I was wondering how do you roll royal icing? Did you make it extra firm? Looks awesome! Did you place? Because you should have!
Candy177..No..I actually made royal icing and it was too thick,almost like doh so I rolled it instead of trying to thin it down...who would have known!!

This is awesome!!! How did you shape the actual cake into towers? You say the castle was covered in royal icing - did you mean fondant?
bia123...Actually I originally wanted to pipe large royal icing stones but my icing was way too thick almost like dough...so I decided instead of throwing out that much icing I wondered how I could use it.So I began rolling a bit in my hand and pressed a few balls on and Viola!!So I kept going...I did the same thing around the towers in which I used empty pringles potatoe chip cans.This was a competition cake so it couldn't be real cake.
