Ditto what Sugar Plum Fairy said only in Michigan. It is so reminiscent of cakes my dad brought home for special occasions-only yours looks better! I love the giant borders (frosting freak) and the simplicity of the cake-it gives it a charming look of freshness and scrumptiousness!
This, and many of your other cakes, remind me of the cakes we used to get at our local bakery back in Brooklyn (NY). Owned by an Italian family, it was, and still is, THE bakery to go to in the Gravesend section! Great job!!
