Tiffany Box Cake
I made this cake for my best friend's bridal shower. The cake is chocolate with oreos and cream filling and the lid is white cake. The pearls, roses and tissue paper are gumpaste. This was my first attempt at an open box cake with a lid.

Sharibearie, I did string the pearls. I made them from gumpaste and then strung them on wire which I hung around one of the dowels.
Melchris, I balanced the lid on 3 dowel rods that stuck out of the bottom layer of the cake.
