this is based on wiltons garden party cake. i stacked a 6" on an 8" and used dowels to support it. it was my first attempt at royal icing flowers, using dowels, stacking and the upside down icing method (totally didn't work)... i was pretty happy with how it turned out. of course i see all the flaws... but thank goodness it's done! whew!
