This is my son's second cake he made for scouts. We "won" this one and used it for my husband's birthday. My son and I baked the top cake in a round metal bowl and the other is 1/4 sheet. Lots of cake for the 4 of us! It was his design and he did it all except stack the cake and write on it.

Oh the "track" is fruit roll ups and flag and cup are candles. The sign you can't see says Pack 99 Pinewood Derby

What a fun cake, we just got back from seeing the movie Cars, this cake in inspiring me to do one like this now....great job :)

Thanks everyone! I have passed the comments on to him and he is so proud! I have always wondered why they don't earn a badge for this project! Oh well, he did come in 4th in regionals in the real derby! :-)
