Golf Cake For 47Th Birthday
Ok so in case I havent mentioned it already, I not even close to making a business of this yet- so far just having fun making cakes for family and friends. And love learning new things on my own and thanks to all you pros! So I knew I had to travel 7 hours on bus and ferry and another bus, to transport 4 cakes to be presented the same night- so naturally I couldnt bring ingredients on the trip and then do it 'on site' - sooo I have a UFC cake, a golf cake, a grad cake, and a bon voyage cake to transport.
ok cont... so I had to make all 4 cakes mini sized (as 4 cakes in one night is a lot even for our large family :)) - for the golf green i used a heart shaped cake pan and then modified it, and the MMF worked GREAT for the grass, and I'm now using cornstarch, and a brush to clean it up- learn learn learn lol - the golf ball was MMF
