Poinsettia's & Velvet Bow
Inspired by a Collette Peters creation. The flowers are outlined in royal icing, then filled in with piping gel. Ms. Peters book provided a template for the poinsettia's, but I found it easier to do them freehand. I hand carried this cake all the way to Tulsa OK to a relative's for Christmas.
I love it! whats the name of the book with the template? If I ever learn to do that I would like to have it handy, lol.
