A baby shower cake I made for my sister in law. The cake was supposed to have been tiered, but at the last minute, it was decided that that would be too much cake...(not that there could ever be such a thing in my mind). I ended up running short of lilies, as I had only made enough to cover the smaller tier. Oh well, I think I was the only one at the shower who noticed.... Chocolate Fudge cake, with mocha mousse filling & BC.
It looks lovely despite the change of plans. The flavors sound delicious. What are the lilies made of (gumpaste, royal, etc.)?
Oh those last minute changes...you pulled it off terrifically!!!
