Fathers Day Cake
Orange cake with vanilla cream filling and french vanilla buttercream. Customer wanted a Fathers Day cake and said his favorite color is blue, so this is what I came up with. Fondant and royal icing accents.

Great cake! I love it! Thanks for the super ideas! Do you create the royal icing design on wax paper, color it with luster dust, then apply to cake? Or do you apply royal icing directly to cake and paint luster dust on the design at that time?

Thanks for all the nice comments! CakeDiva - I create the royal on wax paper then apply luster dust, then apply on the cake. I feel that is much easier.
